We are proud to be located
in the heart of Warroad, MN, the only American
Port on Lake of the Woods. Our guests
experience fishing on Big Traverse Bay, known
for its limit and lunker producing mud flats and
rocky reefs. Big Traverse offers a wide open
arena for ice anglers to take in ice fishing the
way it was meant to be. Our fishing hot-spots
are not over-populated; there are no ice roads
and certainly no ice road signs!
Our motto is: We’ll take you fishing, feed you,
entertain you and put you to bed!
Your day’s adventure begins at the front door of
our motel where we’ll take you on a short,
1-mile trip to the lake where you will board a
heated bombardier and head out to your fishing
destination. Marty, your guide, will be sure
you have everything you need for a successful
stint on Big Traverse…the holes are drilled, the
fish house is heated, the bait is ready…all you
need to do is drop in the line and start
jigging! Marty will check on you several times
a day to see if you need anything. At sundown,
with your catch in hand, it’s back to the bomber
for your short ride in. We’ll bring you back to
the motel and you can either head in for a hot
shower, visit with Marty as he cleans your fish,
or take-in the fun of another hot-spot…Izzy’s
Lounge.

Why Izzy’s?
Clean,
spacious accommodations—Ice anglers on a package
will be treated to motel rooms each with: two
queen-sized beds, TV, wireless internet, private bath
and daily maid service.
Transportation to and from the motel to your fish house—Once
you park your vehicle, you don’t have to worry about
driving anywhere! You don’t even have to walk outside!
Our grill, game room and lounge are all located within
our motel complex. We take care of you from arrival to
departure.
Heated
fish house—The biggest compliment we receive on our
houses is that they are clean, warm and comfortable.
Each house is equipped with bait, seating, drilled holes
and plenty of space to reel in your limit of lunkers!
We’ll even provide you with poles and tackle if needed
—free of charge!
Trophy
walleye, monster northern pike and jumbo perch—All
in ample supply on Lake of the Woods!
Professional Guide—Marty
is a skilled angler and mechanic. He sees to it that
you and your crew have a fun, safe and memorable fishing
adventure! He says, “When our friends and
customers
have a great day…I have a great day!” He’s fished the
lake for years, and moves our houses around the sand,
mud and reefs to stay on the fish.
Complimentary fish cleaning—We’ll clean and package
your fish for you!
Delicious meals—Those who opt for the meal package
will enjoy breakfast before you head out; a sack lunch
delivered right to your fish house and upon your return,
any combo meal off the menu at Izzy’s Grill.

Lounge—This cozy and contemporary feature of the
